The study aimed to identify the administrative and academic obstacles that postgraduate students in the Faculty of Education at Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University face while preparing their theses. To achieve this objective, a sample of students (n= 302) was selected. The descriptive approach was applied. A survey was applied that consisted of (31) items; it was divided into three sections. The study reached the following results: the administrative obstacles facing postgraduate students came with a (medium) level of agreement, while the academic obstacles came as (high); the suggestions that contribute to solving administrative and academic obstacles facing the postgraduate students came as (high). It was also found that there were no statistically significant differences related to the administrative and academic obstacles facing the postgraduate students attributed to the sex variable, while statistically significant differences related to the course variable were found for the benefit of master students.
