The study aimed at identifying differences in psychological dimensions of academic plagiarism for gender (males and females), scientific rank (demonstrators and assistant lecturers) and specialization (literary and scientific). In addition, the relationship between psychological dimensions of academic plagiarism and the fear of academic failure and the differences of personality dynamics and psychological structure of the highest academic plagiarism case and the lowest academic plagiarism case from the perspective of clinical study. The sample of the study consisted of 205 faculty members’ assistants, while the sample of the clinical study were extreme cases .The tools of the study included the psychological dimensions of academic plagiarism scale and fear of academic failure scale in addition to interview forms and a group of T.A.T charts. Results showed that there were statistically significant differences between males and females in psychological dimensions of academic plagiarism in favor of males, while there were no statistically significant differences between demonstrators and assistant lecturers in psychological dimensions of academic plagiarism. Furthermore, there were statistically significant differences between sample members of literary and scientific specializations in the psychological dimensions of academic plagiarism favoring the literary specializations. There was also a positive and significant correlation between the psychological dimensions of academic plagiarism and the fear of academic failure, and the clinical results coincided with the psychometric results.
